christmas.

my christmas's never cease to surprise me. i never have a christmas identical to another... but this year i can't complain! i had one of the best christmas's ever. no exact reason why. it was just good.(:

last night we arrived back home from nc. it was alright, nothing has certainly changed there! except my baby cousins are growing up on me. they're about the only reason i don't die from lack of socialization in the small town environment i am in there. but anyway... when we got to nc, it was pretty fun. we ate dinner and played pingpong, pool, and table soccer in uncle jack's garage while we ate pizza. we also got to look at his 7 harley's while we ate. in his harley davidson painted and decorated garage. with a kitchen. ha!(: then that night we played wii dance. my mom won and savanna came last! my grandmother came in second. it was hilarious. then sunday morning we went to rachel's church and enjoyed a great sermon. went to k&w's for lunch. then hung out at my grandmother's the rest of the afternoon and evening... we played house when the guys and savanna went shooting. lily davis (she's 3) was the mom and rachel (she's 11) and i were the babies and lily was putting us to bed. we both had our cell phones trying to text, and lily davis came back in the room at "night" and told us we were grounded from out phones until the morning. hahahahh.(: anyway... that night we ate a southern dinner and opened gifts. the next morning we ate breakfast, hung out, and left. yayyyyy north carolina.

anyway.(: this morning i am excited! it's going to be a really great week. today i'm going ice skating and for lunch downtown with my best fransss! abbie, jackie, and sarah.(: then later i thinkkk we are going shopping. thennn! on new year's day i'm having a party! whoop whoop.

-christmas princess party with gal pals! went to see princess and the frog, then watched elf and ate pizza at my house. fun stuff ya'lllllll.
-youth board party! salsarita's and ice skating downtown.
-nashville: shopping. charlie brown ice exhibit. lunch with my kids. shopping. wedding.(: we also stayed in the grand ole opry hotel, which was gorgeous...

2. christmas planssss.
this week i am just staying home and chilling. boring.): buttt, christmas eve i will go to church. head back home and get the party crunk with my familia and most likely my kids. (ps- i love my kids.) christmas morning will consist of parents and savanna, then later my grandparents and great aunt&uncle. then going to my mamaw's for lunch.(: then will spend the evening with my kiddos... the next morning i'll be getting up bright and early to travel to north carolina to stay with my dad's family for a few days. i'll be gettin my inner redneck goin on... ridin four wheelers, shootin pool, and eatin country ham. aw yeah ya'll.

3. spiritual life.
i don't even know if i should even go into this...lol. but basically, Jesus Christ is my best friend. God is showing me more and more everyday what it means to live for Him and to trust him with everything i have! life is too short to just fool around... God is my fufillment in life, and i can't wait to see what he has in store for my life. i want to do big things for Him...

4. skype is the stuff.
so. skype found me about 2 weeks ago... and i have fallen in love. please be my skype friend.

5. dreams.
this week i've realized what a dreamer i am... i want to travel the world. i want to get a good job. i want to marry the best man in world. i want to do so many things.... and i need to get off my lazy american but if i want to see those dreams come true. and this year, i'm going to work hard to fufill all the dreams i can. i'll post a list here in another post.(:

bonus!! new year's resolution... to fufill my 4th H of the 4-H's! Health. This year i'm going to better my health by working out 15 min daily, drink 6 glasses of water, and limit myself to a soda a month. yeaaaaaaaaaaaah buddy. check me out.

this weekend has been so relaxed. i've loved every moment. Jesus has certainly smiled on me and blessed with with an abundance of joy! i have great friends and family that care for me and my heart. ahhh.(: the end.

doug's boo boo.

that's right. yesterday i had my first accident.

this is how it all went down...

i was coming out of the parking lot around 8 last night from mr.gatti's pizza for my friend ashlyn's 16th birthday party. it was already dark of course, and i had already had a feeling something wasn't right. i backed up, and was almost out on the road when a blue van started backing out without looking, i slowed down a little bit. still didn't see me. finally, i had to stop they were too close! the man finally saw me, and started waving his arms at me to scoot back. i was really confused. he kept waving, so i put the car in reverse. i looked back in my mirrors and nothing was there. less than a second later, CRASHHONKSCREAMMMMM. i backed into a little black car. i was shaking and savanna was almost in tears. we felt the bump, thank goodness no one was hurt and there was no super major damage other than doug's bumper scratched and the other girls light cracked with a dent on the very edge of the hood of her car.

luckly, i just met the girl i had the accident with at the party! she was also 16 and didn't have much of an idea what to do. so we called our parents, then the police. everything has seemed to work out well after this. i didn't grounded, no tickets, no points off my license.(: i am such a blessed girl! this lesson has taught me to never feel pressured by other drivers and to always double check when in reverse. oh, and what to do if i ever get in another accident. great lifeskill.

anyway.(: all is well with that. thanks for your concerns, friends.

today i did school. duh. and went on a few errands with mom. still looking for the perfect taylor swift dress. and my boots! hopefully will get those in sevierville this saturday. along with some pancakes maybe? (:

Chocolate Poptarts.

yes. i did just eat a chocolate poptart. and it was delicious, thank you.

anyway. (: this week, i haven't had that much school. thank heavens! it's been so gray... and i've kept busy by working at soar yesterday, and then teaching a workshop at our county's leadership retreat tomorrow. soar went pretty good, kids were a little moody though. we had elections, discussed service project ideas, and also afterwards savanna taught button sewing while i taught on email accounts and website building. i also helped with speeches and posters for their contest next month. which reminds me, i need to get started on my poster and speech... sigh.

today i went shopping for awhile. looking for my halloween costume... no luck. soon i will have guitar lessons. then i got a babysitting job this evening! yesssss. i need some extra dolla's. haha

oh! my asian friend, lysa, she added me as her sister on facebook! ohmy, that totally made my day. that and i had chickfila for lunch.

i'm back and have finally recovered from srtlc... i just had so much fun!!(: (look at my facebook pictures. it will explain the wonderful weekend i had.) i met so many great people... including my first asian friend! (beside my brother jo-seth.) haha.(:

i felt really sick though last night/today though. i went to bed before 9, and got up at 8:30. then, went back to bed and got up at 11. phew i was tired. i've been taking lots of medicine, vitamins, and drinking plenty of hot tea. it's helping. (: anddddddddd my best friend should be home anytime! eeeee.(: for some reason i'm excited about things going back to normal. for awhile, at least.

speaking of halloween. i still don't know what i'm going to be. i want to be an asian. but i don't have a costume. i'm pretty sure i could pull off a mean kate gosselin(or whatever last name she has now...) or taylor swift. i just have to chop off my hair or get cowgirl boots....

maybe i should just get cowgirl boots. yes.

today i did some school. not much... worked on my portfolio! i also set a lot of goals for myself this week. trying to reach them. (: ummmmmm. i'm probably going for coffee tomorrow with my good friend torefa. then later on working at soar.... probably riding with mother meryl. savanna is not happy.

came back from nashville! went to a wedding for the guy my dad mentor's. it was beautiful. i also visited my great aunt and uncle. (: they're too sweet... and speaking of sweet. that reminds me of hannah lee! my parents were kind enough to take us all to see her. (: that was definetely my trip's highlight.

new business:

tomorrow i get to leave early from co-op! yeah son. going to southern region teen leadership conference! i'm carpooling with eastern region chief and my dear friend, mason.(: i'm very very excited. i get to see so many wonderful people!! i will report back when i'm home. do not fret.

um. today i've also been very jealous because jason left without me for california to visit rachel... i want to go so bad. like you don't even understand this.

anyway. i better go finish packing for srtlc and school. don't want to forget my sunshine umbrella! or ohmylanta jayjay.... that'd be bad.

Last Day of Fasting

Haiii. (:

So, today is my last day of the whole "no texting and facebook" fasting ordeal. It's been okay. Kinda hard in a way, but not really. I've spent a lot more time with my family...but have found myself walking around the house more...not doing anything (because I finish my school and homework so fast)... I actually watched some of a movie today. lol.

Anyway. Yesterday was 4H, and then right after we left to our "daughter" 4H club. We have adopted the club Jason actually started...and I love it. The kids are so funny. (: 

Today I ain't doing to much. Going to mathhhh here in a bit. Comin' home. Youth group. 

In youth group, we normally have crazy theme about eh... once a month? Dunno. Anyways. Tonight's theme/contest is "crazy tourist"...yeah. Weird. lol. I'll probably just be modeling my teeva's with the typical tourist socks. The "shoobie". lol, does anyone remember that show? ROCKET POWER. Yess....I remember I hated it. But I watched it all the time....yeah. lol

 

Tomorrow is Thursday Co-op. In media class, we're making a commercial for "Edi-pencil"...the one and only edible pencil! Tory (oh my dear, wonderful Tory) is yet again making me a cute little graphic at the end of the commercial. It's going to be good. I'll put it on youtube and put the link on here once I edit it.

So...today was Monday. Not exactly my favorite day...Had an awful time in my only class. Having some students not doing their work can make a pregnant teacher's emotions go wild. And that means cranky teacher. Then that means bad day at school. Which means distractions and getting left behind and laughed at when you miss something...and then being embarrassed and not doing well on your tests. All because other students are lazy and don't do their work and make the pregnant teacher cranky.... *sigh*.

I also got my haircut today. That was pretty cool I guess. And I also didn't have to babysit so I'm having a very relaxed evening at home.

My sis got a new phone...a quickfire. It's very cool. Very cool.... and almost got me thinking I should break my phone so I can get a cool classy phone too. lol

Um...and oh. I'm fasting from facebook and texting this week. Not sure exactly why, but God has laid it upon my heart. No worries, everything is going swell. (:

Wow. It's been a long time. I was just on my facebook looking around at "Info" section...and hey! There it is. My blog. (:

Nothing too important has been going on lately. JUST A HUGE MASSIVE SNOW STORM THATS LOCKED ME INSIDE SINCE CHURCH SUNDAY!!!!! That's all. Lol, just kidding. But, I'm not kidding about being locked at home because of "snow"! Yes, snow. A lousy two inches and for some reason all of Knoxville has completely freaked out. Lol. :3=

In other news....hm...other news. School is goin' good. Lots of homework, of course. I just finished a 1000 word global warming paper! Woot woot....yeah. No. Lol, it was nasty. Worst paper I've ever written. 

In my 4H life things have been going alright:

- Lost my county speech contest to Jason... again. 

- Entered in Leadership portfolio! (MUST GET TO CONGRESS!)

- Made a Display Boarddddd....

- Planning on having Ms. Tracie speak to our club on photography next week! (since this      month's meeting got rescheduled to next week because of Knoxville's "blizzard".)

- Running for Eastern Region Scribe at Spring Conference!
